Multisensory Tutoring at Education Therapy Center

Our sessions at the Educational Therapy Center are designed to fill in the gaps of knowledge that your student may have in reading, spelling or math.

• Since reading impacts almost every subject, your child’s knowledge base and vocabulary may be lagging from his or her peers.
• Spelling depends on knowing the various rules for the spelling of the sounds in the English language. Despite the opinions of many, English does have rules that your child can learn so he does not have to just memorize words for the spelling test.
• Reading comprehension is impacted by reading fluency if your child struggles to read the words on the page.
• Math is cumulative, so if there is a gap in an early skill, the advanced concepts will not make sense to your child.
