Welcome to the ETC Summer Math. a unique educational experience designed to enhance foundational math concepts. Whether you are looking to gain or maintain skills over the summer, this session can help. These multisensory math sessions use hands-on activities, manipulatives, and movement to teach math concepts, making learning more engaging and accessible for all students, especially those with dyslexia or dyscalculia.
Students will interact with physical objects to understand math concepts, place value, number sense & key math vocabulary. Instructors will emphasize clear and precise language when discussing math concepts, helping students better understand and remember them. Two instructors trained in working with students with dyslexia and related learning differences will lead small group activities in addition to some individual instructional time with students as needs are identified.
