Welcome to the ETC Summer Morphology “Root” Camp, a unique educational experience designed to enhance reading and writing skills through the structured and multi-sensory approach of the Orton-Gillingham method. This camp is for students who wish to improve their literacy skills by understanding the building blocks of language —morphemes.

Morphemes are the smallest units of meaning in language — roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Campers will explore word structure and gain mastery over complex words through games and collaborative activities. Campers will also apply morphology knowledge in creative writing sessions, where campers craft their own stories, boosting their confidence and motivation to read and write.
